The story behind the hardware choices can be found in my Minimum Viable Gaming PC post. Long story short, I wanted the absolute best bang-for-my-buck for what I personally consider to be the minimum acceptable performance for 1440p gaming. This is what I settled with:

- TEAMGROUP 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4-3200 RAM
- ASUS RTX 3070 Dual SI GPU
Unraid Server
It’s changed forms over the years, but this is easily the longest running configuration it’s had. I need to keep telling myself, if it ain’t broke … don’t touch it!
